There is no way to shut it off! I have over 10000 songs in my library and Itunes KILLS my PC hunting for cover artwork and determining gapless playback and there is no way to simply stop it. If you want to hear abbey road without the gaps, just record it as a whole album side and keep from messing up everyone else on the planet! Gapless playback is the most irritating feature in the product! There is no way to shut it off!
