Dear Dan,

I am sorry to hear that you are upset in the way housing went for you last evening. At this time I would like to confirm with you that most of your class was housed last evening and others selected assignments in special interest and apartments. During general housing we always have a sophomore wait list and we make final assignments based on where we have any remaining openings. As a sophomore you are guaranteed housing and we will do our best to make sure you are happy with your final assignment. We will be sending an email tomorrow with the next time you will select upon your return from break. If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me to provide any suggestions/recommendations regarding housing selection in the future please call at [number removed].

Of course, my email wasn’t complaining about being on the waitlist, but it’s nice to see that they try to resolve disputes.
